This section of the Kuststigen-trail starts at Dragsmark Färjeläge in Uddevalla and goes to Fiskebäckskil in the municipality of Lysekil.

The section turns to the west after the ferry location and runs for a while with constant contact with the water. The trail will soon reach the nature reserves of Götavik and Kärlingesund, important locations for seabirds and waders. The area is heavily hilly with rocky fields that in places fall steeply into the sea. The area also has narrow canyons and meadows. In the reserve there are pastures and noble deciduous forests with rich flora and rich bird life.

The trail then turns north until it hits the road towards Skaftö. Here the hiker must walk gently along the road and over the Skaftö bridge.

When the hiker has crossed the bridge the trail towards Fiskebäckskil goes south, through the nature reserve Vägeröd, on beautiful gravel roads through a beautiful forest. 

A visit to the nature reserve Vägeröd is a wonderful experience, especially in April when the spring flowers bloom and birds sing. 

Towards Fiskebäckskil, the trail runs on asphalt, down to the water, through the picturesque old community and away to the swimming place which is the goal of the stage. In Fiskebäckskil there is good with service for the hiker, such as grocery store, hotel and restaurant.

Nearby is the ferry crossing to Lysekil's central location where the continuous stretch of the coastal path continues north.

The alternative is also to continue the coastal path on a detour out to Grundsund.
